Order Now Odia Book Mora Bharat By Jim Corbett’s From OdishaShop
In the early part of the twentieth century, Jim Corbett died and many celebrities died in Uttar Pradesh. His fame spread throughout India after the infamous man-eating leopard of Rudraprayag was killed in 1926. His famous book, Man Eatrs of Kumaon, was published in 1944 and he became world famous not only as a great hunter, but also as a great writer. Reading Corbett’s hunting story makes the body cold and the soul shudder. In front of all these stories are the mighty man-eating giants and leopards, the villagers and the writers themselves staying in the background. Not every reader is given the opportunity to focus on the background, engaging in exciting stories. At the end of the story, the question comes to mind – who is this hunter who has been roaming the Ganges forest for months and months and hunting for food? Who are all the hill country people he lived with? He didn’t write anything about himself or about them!
To this day, people in the Kumayu division of Uttar Pradesh still remember Corbett with deep respect and reverence. It is only natural that people should be grateful to him for the fact that Corbett saved them from the fire of hell many times. The Government of India has also dedicated “Corvette National Forestry” to commemorate Corvette’s endless sacrifice, service and courage. Many observers in the region, including Sriram Sharma and Ramesh Chandra Pandey, write that Kumayu’s affection and respect for Corvette is so deep that it cannot be based solely on gratitude. It is well known that public memory is very low. Even after many years of Corbett’s death, his memory of the area is still alive, he was not just a good hunter – he was a very high-ranking man.His honesty, sympathy for the poor, deep respect for the country’s customs, heritage and traditions, his deep respect for animals and wildlife, and above all his lifelong human service elevated the bed in the eyes of his countless poor friends.
