Bhajan is a rich section in Oriya literature. This section contains the works of hundreds of Kobids from the time of Sarla Das to the present day. Those hymns are mainly divided into three parts – the hymns of Shri Jagannatha, the hymns of Anakar and the hymns of other deities such as Lord Krishna.Meanwhile, a hymn collection has been released as a result of the efforts of former Ramakant Rath, former secretary-secretary of the state culture department. While collecting those hymns, my attention was drawn to the usefulness of the hymns composed in the name of Salabega.So the desire to compile Salbeg’s hymns came to my mind. As a result of the study of the books in the State Museum, I found a few more hymns composed in the name of Salabega.
