Including Malkangiri Matias live in Dhenkanal, Bolangir and Kalahandi districts of Odisha. Matias were cloth and live a simple life. They cultivate Maize, tabbaco leaf and vegetables. In Malkangiri Matias are treated as low amoung the tribes.
